Welcome everyone to Molyneux Farm Shows 2012. Molyneux Farm is looking forward to the start of its third season of shows. 2012 brings many new changes to our schedules. We do our best to listen to our competitors and try whenever possible to give them the competition structure they would like.
This year the majority of our shows, as well as being OPEN SHOWS, also carry a points system for anyone wishing to register for them:
Registration fee for points - £15.00 per person per horse, £5.00 for each additional horse.
Anyone registered for the points will have them recorded and totalled up throughout the season ready for the TROPHY PRESENTATION AND DISCO EVENING to be held in NOVEMBER 2012.
Points will be awarded as follows: 1st place 6 points, 2nd place 5 points, 3rd place 4 points, 4th place 3 points, 5th place 2 points and 6th place 1 point. Trophies awarded to those placed 1st-3rd, medals awarded to those placed 4th-6th plus of course our usual beautiful rosettes.
Points will be awarded to each of our classes which are in our Open / Points shows. Competitors must compete in at least 3 points shows to be eligible for a trophy.
It doesn’t end there, most of our OPEN/POINTS SHOWS also have qualifiers for other affiliated societies ie: CRICKLANDS, EQUESTRIAN LIFE, ROYAL LONDON and THE AMATEUR SHOWING SOCIETY, therefore come along there is everything to compete for.
Without exception this year Nicky and Myself are very excited regards our 3rd OPEN SUPREME CHAMPIONSHIP SHOW 2012 which has even more to offer than previous years. EQUIFEST and CHAPS have both granted us QUALIFIERS for their 2012 CHAMPIONSHIPS, as well as prize money of £200 SUPREME CHAMPION and £100 RESERVE SUPREME. We wish you all the best in the preparation of your lovely horses and ponies ready for this wonderful day.
SHOW JUMPING at MOLYNEUX FARM this year has had a major overhaul. Both CRICKLANDS and ROYAL LONDON each have 2 QUALIFIERS at our OPEN/POINTS SHOWS. Please see our schedules to check which QUALIFIERS are on which dates. Show jumping courses are designed and built by myself, Maureen Shearer a qualified panel course builder for BRITISH SHOWJUMPING.
BRITISH SHOWJUMPING is also coming to MOLYNEUX FARM this year. Our BRITISH SHOWJUMPING SHOW to be held in June is an Advanced/Progressive show with 2 SCOPE QUALIFIERS on offer. Our August show is an AMATEUR/INTRO day.
